On Tuesday evening, I had the pleasure of attending the launch of Masterchef Season 1 Winner Whitney Miller's second cookbook, New Southern Table, hosted by the Epicurean Hotel. It was a beautiful, rustic-themed event, with recipe tastings from Whitney's latest cookbook and plenty of guests to mingle with over delicious small plates.

Whitney was only 22 when she was announced the winner of FOX's first season of Masterchef by none other than Gordon Ramsay himself. True to her Southern roots, Whitney is hospitable and a sweetheart, not to mention, extremely talented, as her recipes prove. Although all of the dishes were very unique in taste from one another, each dish was absolutely delicious.
