Fitlife Foods, a performance-based, health-oriented lifestyle brand based in Tampa, hosted its first ever Fitline event in downtown Tampa yesterday. Two 25-foot zip lines were set up on the corner of Franklin Street and Twiggs Street, and interested zippers could pay $10 for one ride, with the net proceeds from the event benefitting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
The idea behind Fitlife Foods is to provide people with the fresh, made-from-scratch fuel that they need in order to perform at their best and be awesome. At Fitline 2015, people let their awesomeness shine bright as they happily shrieked while making their way across the zip line. I, of course, had to experience this for myself, and I'm so glad I did - it added the perfect amount of thrill and awesomeness to my Friday!
