Moisturized skin is a must-have for me, and I'm all for moisturizing my skin while supporting a good cause. Out of Africa Shea Body Oil is a gentle, vitamin E-enriched oil made with raw, unfiltered Shea butter that provides deep hydration and skin-softening effects. Out of Africa's products also support several women's cooperatives in Benin, West Africa, as these cooperatives supply the locally-sourced, pure and unrefined Shea butter needed for the skin care products.
Out of Africa Shea Body Oil is such a treat for my skin! I prepared a bath after a long day at the office and placed the bottle of oil into the bath to warm it up. After soaking and relaxing for a bit, applied the body oil onto my damp skin, massaging a dime-sized amount of oil onto my arms, legs and the balls of my feet. The lavender scent was so therapeutic and it was refreshing to notice that the oil did not leave any greasy feeling on my skin.
The next morning, my skin was noticeably softer and smoother, and over time, I realized that it actually increased the length of time between having to shave my legs—what a bonus!
Not only does Out of Africa support women's cooperatives in Benin, a portion of its products' proceed also benefits medical care and supports education through Shine on Sierra Leone and the Benin Education Fund.
