I'm almost settled at my new place, and have been trying to find unique ways to spruce up my home that will shine a light on me and who I am. My friends over at MakersKit were more than happy to help me discover their line of do-it-yourself products, from fern terrariums to classic cocktail bar sets.
I love to cook - pots and pans were at the top of my necessities list the moment I moved in, and I've been experimenting with new recipes ever since. One of the MakersKit items that caught my eye was the Mason Herb Garden Set. I always implement different kinds of fresh herbs into my cooking, especially basil and cilantro. The Mason Herb Garden Set comes with all the essentials to create a fail-proof DIY project.
The fun part about MakersKit is that each DIY project is completely interactive. Whereas most DIY projects come with an instructions booklet, MakersKit projects do not. Instead, you're guided to a video on the MakersKit website, where Mike and Jawn, the founders of MakersKit, show you how to put together your project. They are so much fun to watch, and I feel as though I always learn something new coming out of the video, like the history of the word 'herb' and where it came from.
I love my mason jar herb set! It's the perfect decorative piece on my bar counter and perfectly portrays my love and passion for cooking.
