Celebrating its fifth year showcasing the beautiful works of independent and emerging accessory designers in the Tampa Bay area and beyond, Haute Accessories Week, presented by The Fashion Movement, is back from Sept. 1-4. From local to international designers and from veterans who've participated in NYFW to those just starting out, Haute Accessories Week highlights these individuals for their unique and creative designs.
Haute Accessories Week kicks off on Tuesday, Sept. 1 with its Opening Night Style Mixer at Chester H. Ferguson Law Center, where you can learn more about the week and the highlighted designers. On Wednesday, Sept. 2, help Haute Accessories Week celebrate five years of glamour over hors d' oeuvres at Carne Chop House in Ybor City, where designers will also exhibit their accessories. Then, on Thursday, Sept. 3, accessorize your favorite little black dress and head over to Primebar at the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel for the Little Black Dress and Black Tie Party.
The main event on Friday, Sept. 4, the Designers Runway Presentation at Carrollwood Country Club, will feature designers Ella Bing (Tampa), Shola Designs (Tampa), Chelsea Nicole's Exclusive (Orlando), Malchijah Hats (New York), Tenique Tenique (Jamaica), UNICAS Fashion, Eric Green Collection (Orlando), Wendy Foreman Designs (Ormand Beach), and Erika Williner Designs (Tampa).
This event has become a signature one for the community and has been noted for helping grow the Tampa Bay area's fashion community by spotlighting the contributions accessory designers make for the fashion industry. Proceeds from Haute Accessories Week events will be shared with Joshua House, a safe haven in Tampa for abused, abandoned and neglected children.
