I've been having a really hard time developing a skin care regimen that works for me, and I've yet to find a brand or product that I love, or even like for that matter. My complexion is unfortunately on the oily side, and during this time of year, it can also be really dry. So when Re:Beauty, a brand new, innovative line of plant-based skin care products, offered to send me a couple of their products to try, I happily accepted.
Re:Beauty's products are formulated with plant-based ingredients and some contain an exclusive and proprietary complex, called Re:Vitaplex. This complex was created to deliver multiple skin-improving benefits, like skin elasticity and skin hydration. Re:Beauty has an extensive line of cleansers, moisturizers, serums, face oils, masks and eye creams - I opted to try Re:Exfoliate, an exfoliating cleanser and Re:Charge, a brightening face mask with the Re:Vitaplex complex.
I've been using both of these products for a little over two weeks now - I use the Exfoliating Cleanser nightly, and the Brightening Face Mask about two times a week. So far, I'm pleased with the results. Re:Exfoliate gently clears my face of any dead skin cells and leaves it soft to the touch, while Re:Charge does leave a slight glow to my face and a rejuvenating feel after use. Both products have not caused any breakouts, which my complexion is prone to, and in this cold, dry weather we've been experiencing lately, have not left my skin dry.
I'll be testing out these products for a little longer, and will edit this post with any updates. In the meantime, you can shop the products here and check out Re:Beauty on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
