Toward the end of last year, Gelish MINI sent me its entire Kung Fu Panda 3 Collection, along with its Basix Kit to test. I took the time to swatch each individual color and test the overall wear time of Gelish MINI Soak-Off Gel Nail Polish.
I really love Gelish MINI's formula - when using the products in the Basix Kit in conjunction with the polishes included in the Kung Fu Panda 3 Collection, each manicure is capable of lasting for more than two weeks. Because my nails grow out quickly, however, I did change up the color every two weeks.
The removal process is fairly simple - I file off the clear top coat and apply a cotton ball soaked in acetone to each nail, covering each finger with aluminum foil to secure. After five minutes, I remove the aluminum foil and cotton balls and gentle push off the polish with a cuticle pusher.
It's Gonna Be Mei | Kung Fu-schia | Tigress Knows Best
Warriors Don't Wine | Extra Plum Sauce | Po-riwinkle
I liked the solid colors (Tigress Knows Best, Warriors Don't Wine, Po-riwinkle) a lot more than the metallic ones, but overall, each polish was easy to apply, only taking two small coats to do the job.
You can purchase the entire Gelish Mini Kung Fu Panda 3 Collection online or at your local Sally Beauty Supply store. For details on future collection launches from Gelish MINI, be sure to check out the brand on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
