Tea Time with Good Earth and Tetley
I'm a sucker for a steaming cup of hot tea, no matter what the weather. And since the office is normally kept pretty chilly, I like to keep a variety of teas by my desk to keep me nice and cozy. So, naturally, I couldn't contain my excitement when tea from Tetley and Good Earth were sent my way for me to indulge in.
Good Earth's Citrus Kiss is a green tea infused with lemongrass and citrus flavors—it's a great flavor for when my throat needs a little soothing or when I feel like a cold might be coming on. The lemongrass and citrus infusion gives the perfect hint of flavor—I like to drink this fusion as is, with no added sugar.
I think I got a little too excited about the Sweet & Spicy fusion from Good Earth, so much, that I was disappointed with its lack of flavor. An infusion of cinnamon and orange notes with black tea, I was expecting a little more spice, because I absolutely love the flavor of cinnamon, but it ended up being more sweet than spicy. I'd recommend drinking it plain (it's already pretty sweet!), when you're in the mood for something relaxing.
This was my favorite out of the trio, and probably my most favorite tea to-date. Sometimes, black tea can be too strong for my taste, and green tea too light; Tetley's Black & Green is the perfect balance of black tea and green tea. This tea is delicious with a little honey and milk stirred in. Whether made for a pick-me-up or a wind-me-down and for everything in between, this has become my go-to drink at the office and at home.
