Local Bites: Tampa Bay Food Trucks

When you're craving a little bit of everything yummy, a food truck rally is your best bet. It's a great way to get to get the community together - plus, you know I love me some dog-friendly events! Last month, Annie (Discovering Your Happy) and I were invited to explore Tampa Bay Food Truck's Brewers, Beats & Bites Festival at Perry Harvey Park in downtown Tampa - I, of course, took Sadie along for the foodie fun.

With so many trucks to choose from, it was hard to decide where to start! I opted to try the food trucks I've never experienced before, starting with Shanghai Fresh's Crispy Asian Brussel Sprouts (not pictured), tossed with diced green apples and bacon, and topped with a sweet balsamic glaze - it was so fresh and delicious! Following that starter, we indulged in bites from I WANNA WOK, Mr. C's Grilled Cheese and Kebablicious, then wrapped up the evening with scrumptious doughnuts from Craving Donuts.

Keep scrolling for all of our tasty eats!

Me, Sadie and Stairway 2 Heaven Nachos from I WANNA WOK: Wonton Chips, Korean Bulgogi Beef, Grilled Onions, Asian Slaw, Cilantro, Scallions, Tomatoes, Melted Cheese, Yum Yum Sauce, Sour Cream, Sweet Chili Sauce & Sesame Seeds

The Standard from Mr. C's Grilled Cheese: American & Cheddar Cheese, Ham, Bacon & Tomato on Texas Toast

Boom Boom Shrimp from Kebablicious: Panko-Crusted Shrimp, Boom Boom Sauce, Scallions, Fries

And for dessert - So Much S'mores from Craving Donuts

I really appreciated how pup-friendly the event was - the guys at Mr. C's made sure Sadie got some cold, fresh water to drink and Just Smokin' BBQ even gave her some naked pulled pork to nom on.

Ready to take your turn eating all the things? Tampa Bay Food Trucks will be making its way to the Lakeland Christmas Parade, the Holiday Food Truck Rally in Riverview and the Safety Harbor Christmas Fest later this week!
