Local Do: Goat Yoga with the Grady Goat Foundation

Last weekend, I got the chance to partake in goat yoga, and guys - it was the best thing ever. Debbie and Rob Canton, the founders of the Grady Goat Foundation, invited my sister and I out to experience goat yoga for the first time, and I’m not exaggerating when I say we left completely captivated by the whole thing.

Goat yoga at Grady Goat Farm provides its attendees not only the fun experience of a relaxed yoga session in the company of the friendliest baby goats you’ll ever meet, it also gives the goats an opportunity to socialize among themselves and humans. Weekend goat yoga happens every Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m., and sessions are taught by instructors from Kodawari Studios and Urban Wilderness Yoga.

Proceeds from goat yoga tickets benefit the Grady Goat Foundation, which supports organizations that help children facing adversity.

We both had such a memorable time, and I absolutely recommend that you check out goat yoga at Grady Goat Farm for yourself - it’s a combination of meditative, therapeutic and philanthropic, and how can you go wrong with that combination?

Grady Goat Farm is located at 12551 Franklin Road in Thonotosassa. To view available weekend goat yoga sessions and to purchase tickets, click here.
