Elevated Italian Fare at Rocca Tampa

Rocca, the newest Italian concept to join the Tampa Bay area, situated across from Armature Works in Tampa Heights, is finally open to the public! I had the special opportunity to join them during their Friends & Family Weekend and was left in awe - from the service to the presentation to the flavor, everything about Rocca was incredibly thoughtful and impressive, and I cannot wait for you to try it out for yourself!

Scroll on down for an overview of the dishes we ordered, including the impressive table-side mozzarella appetizer:

Crudo: Yellowtail, tomato, celery, olive, chive

Tagliolini al Ragu: Beef ragu, basil, 30-month parmigiana reggiano

Fusilli: Key West pink shrimp, roasted shell butter, prosciutto di parma, chives

Lemon Tart: Espresso bean, meringue

Fior di Latte Gelato: Amaretto cookies, 25-year balsamic

I really cannot say enough good things about Rocca - the made-from-scratch pastas shine alongside the other fresh and flavorful dishes on the menu. Eventually, Rocca will unveil its Oficina - an exclusive dining experience featuring prix fixe menus and the opportunity to view the kitchen up-close and personal.

Rocca is located at 323 West Palm Avenue in Tampa. It is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. For the latest updates from Rocca, follow along on Facebook and Instagram.
